The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote the upcoming boxing match.
Former twice unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge mismatch - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, regularly earning massive financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Difference
As both boxers engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it emphasized just how unlikely this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is really going ahead.
